Our Progress Print

Vinyl 2010 covers the entire PVC life cycle. Its Voluntary Commitment aims at putting the PVC Industry at the forefront of sustainability by minimising the environmental impact of PVC production, promoting responsible use of additives, supporting collection and recycling schemes, and encouraging social dialogue between all of the industry's stakeholders.

Vinyl 2010's activities include operating collection and recycling schemes, pilots and trials, Research & Development, studies, surveys and other initiatives. All projects have clear targets with deadlines and achievements that are reviewed each year in a Progress Report.

Before publication, the reports are audited externally by specialists at KPMG and SGS and approved by our independent Monitoring Committee composed of representatives from European institutions, trade unions, consumer associations, academia and industry.

Transparency is the essence of Vinyl 2010.
