‘The role of the Monitoring Committee is not just to oversee activities. It exists to understand in depth the many and varied projects of Vinyl 2010 and to provide a healthy balance of social, political, environmental and ethical views' Established in 2003, the Monitoring Committee is the independent body which guarantees openness and transparency in Vinyl 2010's initiatives.
The Monitoring Committee meets at least twice a year and currently includes representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, trade unions, consumer associations and the European PVC Industry. Vinyl 2010 continues to seek the participation of environmental NGOs. Members:
