For this year's competition, in addition to a range of prizes for entries received from within the European Economic Area (EEA), Vinyl 2010 will be offering an additional Global Prize and a Special Industry Award. It will therefore be possible to win prize monies of up to €5,000 in total European Prize Category:
1st Prize: €3,000 and publication of winning essay. Global Prize: €3,000 and publication of winning essay. Special Industry Prize: €2,000 and publication of winning essay. (Note this prize may be awarded in addition to one of the above winning entries, or separately, at the industry judging panels discretion) Entries submitted by entrants from within the European Economic Area (EEA) will be considered for the European prize-winning category. The global prize category is open to entrants outside the EEA. All participants are eligible to be considered for the special industry prize. Should one participant be selected both as a prize-winner within the European or Global prize category and also for the special industry prize, the maximum prize money awarded will amount to €5,000 EUR.
