News of the excellent progress that is being made in meeting the targets within Vinyl 2010 was welcomed and the announcement of the 'Vinyl Foundation', a new contribution mechanism for the converting industry, being introduced to keep pace with the funding Vinyl 2010's rapidly growing PVC recycling commitments, was accepted as being a more equitable funding solution for the future.

Related to the new Vinyl Foundation, a new Vinyl 2010 ‘Partner for Sustainability’ logo has been created for converters – producers of PVC products, e.g. pipes, window profiles etc – who contribute as part of the scheme.  This logo shows that the company is supporting the future of Vinyl 2010 and sustainable development.
