ESWA - the European Single-ply Waterproofing Association - addresses waste management of PVC roofing membranes.

Staring with a study in 2002 on the collection and recycling of end-of-life PVC roofing, ESWA committed to recycle at least 25% by 2003 (achieved) and 50% of the collectable, available waste quantity of PVC roofing membranes by 2005.
