The Citizen’s Parliament on Sustainable Consumption in Brussels, Belgium, 14-15 March |

The event was organised by the Association of Cities and Regions for Recycling (ACRR) to share best practices and experiences at European level. It was the occasion for Vinyl 2010 representatives to meet with regional and municipal officials from all over Europe, and to present the Partnership Better Recycling, the project developed by the PVC industry, the wider plastics sector and ACRR to improve recycling of plastics waste in Europe.
Vinyl 2010 was also present with an information desk, presenting the European PVC industry Voluntary Commitment, its projects and achievements.

PLAST ‘03 in Milan, Italy, 3-6 May |

The International Exhibition for Plastics and Rubber Industries which took place in May in Milan was the occasion for Vinyl 2010 to present its Progress Report and the result achieved towards the targets set in its Voluntary Commitment. Vinyl 2010 participated with a stand and organised a conference which saw the participation of European media, academics, institutions and industry representatives.

Green Goals for Business Conference in Brussels, Belgium, 4 June |

Organised by Forum Europe in collaboration with the European Commission as part of the Green Week 2003, the one-day conference focused on Corporate Environmental Responsibility. Vinyl 2010 Secretary General Jean-Pierre De Grève participated as speaker on "Enterprise and Government: Working Together Toward Sustainability".
